May 28, 2010 (Raleigh, NC) - RDK Kombo Records is proud to announce the release of "My Love For You Is Real", Robère Acare long-awaited debut album, on Friday, May 28.

The first in its kind, "My Love For You Is Real" is the full-length album of the new music style called soukpop. Soukpop music is a blend of the Congolese soukous and the American popular music genres. It bridges these genres in an ingenious way that seemed almost impossible to achieve by many artists decades ago.

Created by the recording artist Robère Acare and the late Joe Baule back in 2003, soukpop has reached its maturity with the release of its first full-length album "My Love For You Is Real".

"My Love For You Is Real" is the debut full-length album for the Raleigh based recording artist Robère Acare and his record label, RDK Kombo Records. It's been released both digitally and in CD format. It was a long and winding road putting this album together as Robère Acare faced many difficulties and challenges. This album represents a pure victory of perseverance in the midst of hardship.

With his unique way of singing and style, Robère Acare offers listeners a new wave of music style ready to be counted among the world's great music styles. He salutes the listeners with a traditional piece full of African drums as a tribute to his roots before moving on the modern sounds.
